Keystone is a PSIA-AASI Member School. Education for our instructors is provided by highly certified PSIA and AASI trainers who have intensive training of their own. You may receive this training on snow, indoors, and/or virtually. Clinics range from 1 hour in length to some going longer than 6 hours. You may find clinics here at Keystone or at any of the Vail Resorts in our area.

PSIA-AASI follows the American Teaching System which is student-centered, meaning that every lesson is focused on each student’s ability to progress. This is in contrast to being task-centered or instructor-driven.

Clinic content is designed with the most updated information from both the national organization and our premier Rocky Mountain region.

Our goal is to give you assessment tools to determine your students’ mental and physical abilities. From there, you can adapt your teaching progression to give them the best lesson possible. Remember, being the best skier or snowboarder is only as good as you can get your student safely off the chairlift, down the mountain, and back to their parents!
